This cashotto recipe is quick and easy to make. The ingredients you need to get an excellent result are the following:
500 g bulgur wheat
1.5 l coconut milk
20 g organic virgin coconut oil
Seasonal vegetables
Coconut flakes
Cloves, cinnamon, and star anise
Salt and pepper
Step-by-step instructions

1. First heat the coconut milk in a saucepan, stirring occasionally.
2.Once hot, add the cloves, cinnamon, and star anise.
3.Increase the heat to medium without stopping stirring.
4.Continue stirring until the mixture is very hot, but not boiling.
5.Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 20 minutes.
6.Cut the vegetables.
7.Then add 20 grams of coconut oil to a frying pan and add the vegetables.
8.Season with salt and pepper and wait until they have softened and reduced in volume.
9.Strain the spices from the coconut milk and return the saucepan to the heat.
10.When it boils, add the bulgur and reduce the heat, stirring constantly. The flakes gradually begin to swell and absorb the liquid.
11.Season with salt and pepper and let it reduce until it has a consistency like a risotto.
12.Cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Place on a serving plate and sprinkle with coconut flakes and add the vegetables.

Can you eat cashotto if you have celiac disease?
